Ford Code C116a
In every ignition cycle, if the stoplamp switch message does not correspond with the HCU transducer, during regular operation, the DTC Ford Code C116a (ABS Pressure Transducer / Brake Switch Mismatch) is activated.
This is because both signals must agree on whether or not the brakes are being applied. The main/primary signal of the pressure transducer, DTC C1440, failed. If the signal sent to the ABS module by the pressure transducer does not match the position of the stoplamp switch, this DTC is activated at each ignition cycle.
The PCM receives voltage when the brake pedal is depressed, causing the stoplamp switch to close. The PCM then notifies the ABS module that the brake pedal has been depressed via the High-Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN). Only after the fault has been fixed can DTCs set in the ignition cycle be erased by turning the ignition off and on again.
Ford ABS Code C116a
If the brake switch and the ABS pressures transducer give contradicting information while operating normally, Ford ABS Code C116a is activated. Until the problem is fixed, the code can be set on each ignition cycle.
2013 Ford F150 Code C116a
A 2013 Ford F150 with the code C116a has a brake switch mismatch with ABS Pressure Transducer. This problem usually occurs when the powertrain control module (PCM) detects a different pressure reading from the brake on/off (BOO) switch than what the ABS hydraulic control unit (HCU) is registering. If there is a problem, this code can show up frequently and could be connected to a malfunctioning ABS hydraulic control unit.

Ford C1145-e0
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) Ford C1145-e0 denotes a malfunction in the circuit that receives data from the right front wheel motion sensor.
This may happen as a result of issues with:
· the wheel hub assembly
· a malfunctioning sensor
· circuit wiring
Other diagnostics could be required to identify the precise issue, as some users report replacing the wheel hub or sensor without fixing the problem.
Ford C1141-e0
Wheel speed sensor LF tone ring tooth missing fault is the problem code for Ford C1141-e0. After moving the wheel’s sensors to the opposite side and giving it a test drive, the identical error message appeared. They stated that the housing or something similar would need to be replaced.
Ford b1596-20
The ABS system’s generic code is Ford b1596-20. It usually goes with another code, however if this is the sole code in the ABS system, it simply indicates that there is a problem with the ABS. The same goes for U0401, which is only a code indicating a problem.
Ford C1175 code
The Ford C1175 code indicates an issue with the Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Input Circuit. This code indicates that there may be an issue with:
- the operation
- connection of the left rear wheel speed sensor
- which could affect the ABS system of the vehicle.
Repair often involves checking the sensor’s:
- wiring
- connections
- ground connection
C1440 Code Ford F150
A problem with the left rear wheel speed sensor input circuit is indicated by the Ford C1440 code. This code suggests that there might be a problem with the left rear wheel speed sensor’s operation or connection, which could have an impact on the car’s ABS system. Repair frequently entails inspecting the wiring, connectors, and ground connection of the sensor.

Ford b1596-e0
The Ford b1596-e0 typically indicates a problem with the ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) sensors, frequently involving a problem with the ABS sensor on the front tire on the driver’s side.
It is categorized as a continuous code, meaning that the discovered problem prevents the ABS system from completing its self-test. If this code is the only one recorded, it usually indicates this particular sensor issue, though it may also occur with other codes.
C1963 Code Ford F150
C1963 Code Ford inhibit warning for stability control, the only purpose of this DTC is informational. Examine the Power Steering Control Module (PSCM) for DTCs. FIX as needed. CLEAR the DTC if the EPAS module has no DTCs.
Ford DTC c1440:20
In Ford DTC c1440:20, pressure transducer circuit malfunction, was found after evaluation. The brake pedals on/off switch was found to be operating correctly, however the ABS pedal pressure remained unchanged. Codes can be cleared, and the test drive may br used to quickly find code returns. The ABS control module will need to be replaced prior to additional testing.
C1288 Ford F150

DTC C1288 Ford F150 is related to a malfunctioning pump pressure sensor. This issue is typically brought on by the pump’s hydraulics failing. You can only replace the pump if it has a detachable module. Keep in mind that a proper diagnostic system (such as the Ford IDS system) must be used to bleed the pump once it has been replaced.
